Welcome to the 2008 Oakland Teaching Fellows wiki. This wiki currently contains information only relevant to fellows who belong to the Riveters. As contributions increase, the wiki may contain information for the rest of the cohort.

The wiki is intended to be an online resource that will help fellows collaborate with each other. Fellows are invited to upload their practice teaching information to support and facilitate lesson planning for the summer classrooms.

The discussion section in this wiki will be open to sharing of teaching practices, written lesson plans, facts about the fellowship and credentialing programs, living in Oakland and other relevant questions, comments and ideas.

A wiki is a community-driven project; it will always be open to member contributions and editing. In other words, fellows are encouraged to add any information they may find useful or edit any that may be incorrect.
